Ellsworth Truth. size lg. $1200. This bike have a nice build with lots of xtr and cable disc brakes.

Kona Jake cx bike. $500 or $800. The bike is mostly built and is as is for $5oo or fully built for $800. size 54cm.

Gary Fisher Cake $400. size 15.5. This bike is in awesome shape. Disc brakes and carbon on the rear triangle.

Long Day

A long day is over. We've worked all day long cleaning, stocking and building bikes. The week off has served us well, some mtn. bike riding in the north Georgia mountains and some good hang time with a good friend. Closed for a few days

We will be closed for the next few days in order to get ready for the upcoming christmas season. These next few days will allow us to get ourselves together after a busy end of summer and early fall. We will also be making plans for the addition of a new neighbor thus giving us the title as the smallest bike shop in louisville.
We will be accepting special orders on bikes and parts for the holidays and we will offer gift certificates. We will also be prepping for a repair class hopefully starting soon after thanksgiving. Class size will be limited.

Park and ride in

We tried to get this going about a year ago and it didn't seem to take off. We were trying to get people to park at the shop and ride into downtown. It looks like this may be a great way for some of you to get to work. We are right off of I-71 at zorn ave., straight in river rd. and you are there. Think about it, the traffic is bad and may only get worse.

Mechanic Classes

We are getting ready to offer mechanic classes for this fall and winter. Sign-up now and get your spot, classes will be limited to 4 students per class. We will have several sessions so don't worry. Classes will need to be paid in advance and are non-refundable. The price will be $85 that will include service book and a discount on tools. We are looking forward to having you in class.

We are starting to put together some dates for a possible swap meet near the end of september or early october. We are also putting together dates for mechanic classes sometime in late october through the end of the year. Class sizes will be small but they will be frequent. Classes will meet several times a week over a 2 or 3 week period. Contact us for prices.

Well we made it through another flood. We are open for business and ready to serve you. Speaking of serving you we have had lots of phone calls asking if we work on any bike. The answer is simple, yes. We work on all bikes from any shop. We are also welcoming patroons from other shops that have recently closed. You are welcome in our store.

We just picked up khs bikes and cruisers as well as pactimo clothing. Pactimo offers a custom program with a low minimum order with fast turn around. Check out the link. We are happy to special order any item that you don't see in stock. Don't see something you're looking just ask. Also we are still offer mechanic classes. The classes will be limited to 4 students, stop in the shop for details.

What A Weekend

We would like to start by saying thank you to everyone that stopped by, bought something, or just answered the phone for us. It was a great weekend for sales and service. This has helped us get some much needed cash flow.

We are one of the only shops with fast turn around on repairs and great prices on professional service. We received a very small of Mad Alchemy Embrocation, we have several different types. We also have you covered with Hammer nutrition products too. Check out our hard to find nos water bottle cages and seat and handlebar bags.

As you know the shop has been closed for several days and the power was cut off by lg&e for safety reasons. The shop has taken on very little water, this is good. The bad news is we still have bills to pay and product to sell. I guess we will have to have some type of flood sale. Stop in and pick up those items you need and help us make it through this rough patch.

You guys are the reason we are here. It has been a slow start to the spring and as you know this type of business is driven by the weather. We hope to see you soon.

It's been awhile

As you know the shop has been closed for a few days. The river has flooded river road and I've had to close up until the river gets back within the banks. When I get the doors opened back up I will be ready to serve you.

In the up weeks and months I will be offering some new services and doing away with some old ones. One thing I am happy to announce is the repair class. Sign up in the shop or via phone. The class will be limited to 6 students and will run for an 8 hour period. The dates and times will be available soon. Contact the shop for all the info.

I am also working on getting the Cyclist Social resurrected in time for Thunder Over Louisville. My shop is a great viewing point and it has quick get away with little traffic. I'm working on getting the guy from last year to come down with burgers and hot dogs. Space and parking for this event will be limited so please let me know if you plan on attending.

things are going pretty good at the black spring. business is steady but i could always use more. i have a day or two wait going right now on repairs, so no need to wait for those other guys. i have great bikes for back to school or just to commute on, don't forget gas is on the rise again. stop by and grab a cup o fresh, park the car and ride on into work.
